Dive Insight:
Companies have finally caught on to the need for open learning management systems that are both adaptable and cost-effective. In the early years of e-learning, most were clunky and required a lot of training to create even basic workforce development courses. Today, however, LMS are much more intuitive and the ease at which corporate materials can be added to create learning collateral is driving their use.
Now, organizations are taking it a step further with branded content, intended for not only internal employee training efforts, but also for sharing with the world. Employers must be prepared to manage all facets of employee development, from onboarding and new hire training, all the way through advanced certification and skills development.
