Dive Insight:
Corporate branding is incredibly important in today's job market. What candidates encounter in the first few moments of visiting a company website can dictate whether they choose to apply for a job or move on to a competing firm.
However, this branding must be more than surface deep. It has to be part of the corporate culture and embraced by all levels of employees in order to be authentic.
Companies can learn from the top-rated companies so they too can rise to the top and attract better employees. DropBox's recent improvement of their brand positively impacted recruiting and retention, and is a strong example of the kinds of changes being made to be successful in the modern recruiting market.
