The past several weeks have drawn the world's attention to Ukraine, where civilians have become fighters and a humanitarian crisis has unfolded following Russia's invasion Feb. 24. 

While the concerns feel distant from some in HR, the interconnectedness of our world mean many HR pros may be dealing with the crisis in the workplace: managing cybersecurity threats and supporting employees who have close relations — or who may even themselves be — in Ukraine.
