Dive Insight:
Enterprise learning continues to evolve with more demands on L&D professionals to upskill new and current employees, and to prepare for jobs that may not even exist yet. Other top priorities include soft skill training to address leadership, communication and innovation.
In addition to the wealth of areas to address, learning professionals are managing a variety of workplace learners never before seen. Developing materials to meet the needs of a range of workers, from entry level to boomers preparing to retire en masse is shifting the role of L&D focus more heavily on content curation than ever before.
Also impacting choices are employee demands for personalized content in the learning experience. The classroom-style “one and done” training protocol is giving way to on-demand learning that is impactful at the point of use.
