- Toronto-based McLuhan & Davies Communications, Inc., which offers business communications training, has launched a three-part documentary web series - titled "We Are Millennials" - that takes a look at today's millennial employee. The web series, which was created by two of the firm's millennial employees, analyzes work ethic, goals and interests of this generation, and explains how managers can get young employees more motivated, productive and dedicated.
- The series uncovers what millennials want out of their careers and how their talent and skills can be capitalized on, as well as the secret to transforming a millennial into a high-performing leader.
- By the year 2020, Millennials will make up 50% of the global workforce, according to a report from PwC. Employers need to be proactive and make millennials an integral part of their business strategy, explains Roger HB Davies, McLuhan & Davies' CEO.

The firm's research shows that this generation approaches the workplace differently than baby boomers and Gen Xers, he adds, with millennials placing a special focus on workplace culture, short-term goals, instant feedback, communication skills and professional development.
"There are a lot of negative comments circulating about my generation claiming we're spoiled, entitled, lazy and unmotivated," says Ashley Denuzzo, Digital Media Coordinator at McLuhan & Davies and producer of the series. "That couldn't be further from the truth."
