Dive Insight:
HRE used staff reviews and selections as well as input from experts and analysts to create a solid list of 10 applications they consider the best right now. While you can head to HRE’s site for the full list, we pulled out a couple that serve different HR needs – and reflect the varied nature of the HR tech space, ranging from smaller apps to full software-as-a-service solutions.
CoPilot by NuCompass, for example, is a “cloud-based relocation-management platform” – a way to help employees manage their relocation fairly stress-free while giving employers “visibility and control” over expenditures related to the move.
HireVue Coordinate is a scheduling tool that integrates with Google Calendar and other calendar services to find matches for interview times between interviewers and other various parties – “long a thorn in a recruiter’s side,” HRE said. “Options for interview times are generated in seconds, not hours.”
Permiso, on the other hand, is a cloud-based, software-as-a-service solution that is designed to guide global travelers through at least 3,000 different immigration and tax rules for more than 40 companies. “The goal is that, prior to traveling overseas, employees learn exactly what's required of them,” HRE said.
Other names on the list: eQuest Gamification, ADP Marketplace, and Yello Scheduling.
