The Midtown Group, a WBENC-certified woman-owned business based in Washington, DC that has provided flexible staffing solutions across the nation for over 33 years, announced today that it has received three notable recognitions from The Washington Business Journal. These recognitions amplify the Midtown Group’s dedication to connecting people with life-changing career opportunities, and workplaces to remarkable, reliable talent.
Midtown was ranked the 8th Largest Women-Owned Businesses in Greater Washington by total revenue in 2022. To be eligible, businesses had to have a presence in the greater Washington area.
Additionally, the company was ranked 2nd on the list of the Largest Temporary Staffing Companies in Greater D.C. by their 2022 metro-area revenue. Midtown is honored to have been featured prominently on this list for the second year in a row, with more than 1600 placements.
Midtown was also recognized as one of 2023's Fastest Growing Companies, coming in at No.28. To qualify for this recognition, the private companies headquartered in the D.C. area must have had more than $2 million in revenue in 2020 and more than $10 million in 2022. Companies also had to sustain significant growth year-over-year, as the list is based on the average percent revenue growth from 2020 - 2022.
"We are extremely proud and honored to be featured on multiple Washington Business Journal's Lists for 2023," said Helen Stefan Moreau, President and CEO of The Midtown Group. “Our team’s relentless devotion to our clients and mission has propelled us from a small firm to an organization capable of delivering full scale staffing solutions nationwide.”
"The Washington Business Journal provides important market intelligence to the Greater Washington Area with its List research," said Alex Orfinger, President and Publisher of the Greater Washington Region of the Washington Business Journal.
