TEMPE, Ariz., April 25, 2024 -- GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY) reports it maintained gender pay parity (globally) for the ninth consecutive year and ethnicity pay parity (in the U.S.) for the seventh consecutive year, despite scaling back hiring in 2023. GoDaddy defines achievement of pay parity as pay that is equal to, or a few cents on either side of, a dollar.
GoDaddy’s annual diversity and pay parity representation findings were published today in its 2023 Sustainability Report, and the data shows GoDaddy continues to make meaningful progress toward creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace that encourages employees to bring their authentic selves to work.
Since first publishing these results in 2015 and 2017 respectively, representation of women and people of color has improved, with big gains in female leadership (7%) and people of color in technology roles (10%).
“At GoDaddy, we continue to train our teams on how to mitigate bias and promote equity in our day-to-day work, with a fair and consistent approach to hiring, performance evaluation, compensation and promotion decisions,” said Monica Bailey, GoDaddy chief people officer. “With nearly 90% of employees feeling that employees treat each other with respect, and their managers modeling inclusive behavior, GoDaddy has taken diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging from industry buzzwords to a cornerstone of our company culture.”
